Nearly there…

In a few very short weeks, the Scarecrow Festival will be upon us. Lynne has been busily collecting Scarecrows - she had almost got to the stage when people are crossing the street as they are trying to avoid creating a scarecrow! This year’s theme of Hero or Villain is going to set a few challenges for the team who create the cryptic clues.

Thank you so much to all of you who are already underway with your projects. If any of you have photo of your past creations and would not mind us putting them on our website, we would be more than grateful.

Alongside the Scarecrow Competitions also have the Scarecrow Supper- no you don’t have to dress up as one-however feel free if the mood takes you. This will take place in the Public Hall on the evening of Saturday June 13th starting at 7.30pm. The tickets are £12.50 and this included a quiz and some games just to make the evening a little different. The menu is baked potatoes, Legge’s sausages, baked beans, and peas and special dietary requirements can be catered for. Please come along and have some fun. You do need to take your own drinks.
